I’m an attorney at Fitzwater Meyer Hollis & Marmion, LLP. My practice emphasizes estate planning for taxable and non-taxable estates, establishing special needs trusts, probate, trust administration, and small business planning.
I want my estate planning clients to walk away with a customized, detailed, realistic, and clear estate plan which will accomplish their wishes. Planning for your demise can be uncomfortable and confusing and my goal is to explain complicated legal options in a way that is easy to understand and clear. I want to provide peace of mind and clarity for my clients. I also provide my clients with all the information necessary to make well informed decisions regarding estate and income taxes, charitable gifts, age of distribution, and trustees. I strive to help my clients, particularly young families and those who may lack a strong support systems or grand finances, to establish a plan which will provide for minor children and distribute assets in the best way possible.
I routinely do speaking engagements on the topic of estate planning throughout Oregon and have lectured to mom’s groups, elderly living facilities, women’s financial groups, and a Veteran’s Association group. I also teach legal research, legal writing, estate planning and contract drafting courses for community college paralegal students.
I have always loved the outdoors, especially the Pacific Northwest. I went to college on the East Coast but quickly realized that I belong in the West. When not working, you can find me hiking, biking, camping, and gardening with my husband and two daughters.
